My Coaching Philosophy

I became a coach to help kids learn and enjoy the game of football. We have youth programs to help expose kids to the game so that they may begin to learn the fundamentals of the game. Its also a great way to build confidence, courage and teamwork. It also helps them develop a general tendency for a more healthy and active lifestyle. Winning isn't about the score at the end of the game; but what is accomplished on the field.

As role models to our kids it is our responsibility to show them fair play, respect for others and hone their competitive nature. To this day some of my best role models are still the coaches I had when I was involved as a player in youth football. I hope that my involvement in the game helps our kids love the game of football both on the field and off. The most enjoyable moments of coaching for me are seeing the excitement on a players face after they have just made a great play! I think this should be another FUN season for the kids! I and my staff will be working hard to make sure that our players get exposure to both offense and defense!

I hope that you will help us by being a positive influence on your child's time with football. Things as simple as throwing a ball around for 10 minutes at home will be a huge impact on them as they progress through the season. This is about the KIDS, we will be focused on the KIDS and their enjoyment. I will emphasis that this league is for FUN and my goal is to ensure that they have fun!

Sincerely,
Matt Eash
